On Monday, January 20, 2025, at 11 AM, the Archaeological Museum in Split organized a panel discussion titled ‘Greeks in the Adriatic,’ in which Municipal Heritage Museum of Vis participated. Fourteen panelists presented the results of their research on Vis, Hvar, Korčula, Trogir, Stobreč, and Resnik, as well as the results of underwater research with findings from the Hellenistic period. One of the speakers was the director of the Homeland Museum, Dr. Dinko Radić, with the topic Perspectives on the Preservation and Protection of Issa’s Heritage. The aim of the panel discussion was to present the results of recent research that develops and changes previous knowledge about Greeks on the eastern Adriatic coast, and to address questions regarding the conservation and presentation of these significant sites.
