On Friday, March 7, 2025, a workshop for students was held at the Kanarija archaeological site. 7. and 8th grade students from Vis Primary School. Students had the opportunity to visit the ongoing research site in situ and hear interesting stories about the island’s ancient history, presented by museum director Dr. Dinko Radić and curator Vinko Udiljak. After the theoretical introduction, students participated in fieldwork and experienced archaeological excavation methods and rules for the first time. They also learned about the importance of documenting valuable finds and layers, and then drew portable finds from the site, resulting in excellent examples of drawings by young archaeologists.
